SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL PREVIEW

Warner Brothers has (finally?) released the first picture of Henry Cavill as Superman in the 2013 film, Man of Steel...

I personally think he looks pretty kickass. The hair isn't as forced as it was with Brandon Routh's portayal in 2006's Superman Returns, which for some reason means that they're trying hard.


Directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch), written by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) and Christopher Nolan (Memento, The Dark Knight, Inception), the film has already cast Amy Adams (The Fighter) as Lois Lane and Russel Crowe as Superman's father, Jor-El. Personally I think the movie has a solid chance at being fantastic. Although Snyder had a miss earlier this year with Sucker Punch, I think that Goyer's writing and Nolan's producing can keep him on track to make sure that this time Superman is done right.
